Bellyacher formed in early 2020 right before Covid hit the world and initially slowed down the band's process. Nevertheless they managed to write their first batch of songs that would become their debut EP. The first official Bellyacher shows happened in April 2022 which would as well be the record release shows of said debut EP. The band managed to keep the pace high and went on their first European tour in April 2023 which took them through Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Switzerland and Italy.
Bellyacher played close to 50 shows in their first two years of being a "live band" with the likes of Samiam, Mobina Galore, Strike Anywhere, Petrol Girls etc. and played two sets at the sold out Booze Cruise Fest 2023 in Hamburg. Still all these efforts took its toll and the band broke up rather unannounced in early 2024.
BUT Bellyacher is back with a slightly adjusted line up and ready to pick up what has been started. So get yourself ready for some new music sooner or later!
